London Purchases

Although we didn’t have a lot of time for shopping in London I managed to pick up a few things that aren’t as readily available in Scotland. The Pixi shop just off Carnaby Street was my first stop to stock up on Pixi Glow Tonic. This toner is amazing and has made a massive different to my skin over the past year. While I was in, I also picked up a Shea Butter Lip balm in Coral Crush and a Tinted Brilliance Balm in Pretty pink. Both feel quite similar on the lips, they’re hydrating but don’t feel to heavy. The Shea Butter Lip balm isn’t curved at the top which makes applying it quite difficult. I think I’ll be using a lip brush and taking the product from the edge to help it along otherwise it’ll just end up at the bottom of my lip drawer unused. The colour payoff from the Brilliance Balm is surprisingly strong. It feels like a lip balm but looks like a lipstick. I can see me investing in a few more soon.

Aesop Parsley Seed Mask from Liberty was another repurchase as it’s quite possibly my favourite face mask of all time. It’s cleansing but not dehydrating, so it’s perfect for popping on as a mid week up-me-up.

Selfridges was the next stop and I picked up Charlotte Tilbury’s Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk. I have a lot of freckles around my month so I thought that this would be perfect for giving my lips a bit more definition when I was wearing a neutral lip colour.

What have you been buying this week?

  2. Absolutely love the Charlotte Tilbury lip cheat - such a great lip pencil, I have Pink Venus, but I bet Pillow Talk is lovely. Just picked up two of the Pixi lip butters, also got Coral Crush - so great :)

Very jealous of the parsley seed mask and pixi glow tonic.
